ANCIENT AND NOW

History doesn't stay in the past. It shows up in a contrail crossing a temple column, a phone pressed against two thousand years of stone, a skateboarder cutting across a plaza ancient before anyone living was born. These images sit at the friction point between what endures and what passes through, the built world patient and indifferent, the people beside it mostly without looking up.
